Heat the marshmallows and butter in the microwave. Heat until the marshmallows and butter are
melted. If not sure stop the microwave and stir the mixture to see if melted. Stir
in the vanilla and immediately pour over the rice crispies. Mix until the
cereal is coated. Place in a 9 x 13 pan and let cool. When cool cut
into squares.
