2 tins blue plums with syrup (or cook 800g plus 1/2 cup water)
4 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 Tbsp orange juice concentrate
1 Tbsp lemon juice concentrate
1/4 tsp allspice
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Instructions
Pit plums.
Put all ingredients together in blender
Blend till smooth
Bring to boil
Thicken with- 4 Tbsp corn starch & water
Cook until thick and transparent
If you like it hot, add a dash of Tabasco sauce.
Serving
Suggestions
Use in sweet & sour sauce (ie. for chicken balls or meatballs)
