     Mangalorean Mackarel Curry

Ingredients
5 mackarels
Ingredients for grinding
1.5 tbspn corriander powder
Pinch of turmeric powder
.5 tbspn Cumin Powder
small piece of ginger
1/4 cup coconut
.5 onion
2 garlic cloves
 
small ball of tamarind
1.5 tbspn Chlli powder or 8 kashmiri red chillies
1 green chilli
Chopped Ingredients
.5 onion
2 green chillies
small piece of ginger
pinch of salt
1 tsp vinegar

Instructions
Grind all the ingredients into a smooth paste. Mix water and add chopped ingredients, salt and little vinegar and boil.
Don't cover the vessel. (the curry will overflow if the vessel is covered). Lower the flame and add fish.
Cook for .5 minutes and it is ready to eat.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with rice and vegetables
