     Sunday Roast

Ingredients
1 3-4 lb. chuck roast
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup water
assorted vegetables
 

Instructions
Brown roast in a dutch oven. Add soups and water. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 hours, adding vegetables in the last 20-30 mins. or cover and roast in 350 degree oven for 3 to 4 hours.
Roast should have an internal temp. of 160 degree.
Remove roast from juices and let sit, covered with a tent of aluminum foil, for 5 mins. Slice and serve with pan juices and vegetables.
