     KATE'S OATMEAL ROLLS

Ingredients
2 C BOILING WATER
1 C ROLLED OATS
3 TAB OIL
1 ENVELOPE YEAST
1/3 WARM WATER
2/3 C BROWN SUGAR
5 TO 5 1/2 C FLOUR
 

Instructions
COMBINED BOILING WATER, OATS AND OIL; LET COOL. DISSOLVE YEAST IN WARM WATER. STIR IN SUGAR AND SALT. ADD OAT MIXTURE. STIR IN FLOUR, DOUGH SHOULD NOT BE STICKY. COVER, LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLED. PUNCH DOWN. SHAPE INTO ROLLS, PLACE ON NON-STICK PAN. LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLED. BAKE AT 350 FOR 20 MIN. MAKES 2 DOZEN TO FREEZE BEFORE BAKING; DO SO AFTER SHAPING, FREEZE. THAW, LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLED, BAKE AS ABOVE.
