     Mushroom and Wild Rice Soup

Ingredients
a. 2 handfuls carrots
a. 2 stalks celery
a. 1/2 onion
a. 8 ounces portabello mushrooms
a. 2 tablespoons butter
a. salt and pepper
b. 6 cups vegetable broth
b. 1/2 cup white wine
b. wild rice box (rice only)
 
c. 1/2 cup butter
c. seasoning from wild rice box
d. 1/2 heaping cup flour
d. 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
e. 2 cups heavy cream

Instructions
A. Chop vegetables together and heat with butter foe 3-5 minutes
B. Add B mixture and heat to a boil.
C. While waiting for B to boil, melt butter and add seasoning, Whisk. D. Whisk D together and add into butter and seasoning, in inciments. E. Add cream in incriments and heat over low about 3 minutes, until thickened. If broth starts to boil, reduce to low.
E. Add roux to broth and stir. Reduce to simmer, cover, and let cook about15 minutes.
