     Pecan Crunch Cake

Ingredients
1/2 c shortening
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c milk
 

Instructions
Sift flour once, measure and sift again with baking powder. Cream shortening , sugar, salt and vanilla. Add unbeaten eggs, cream thoroughly. Add flour alternately with milk. Bake in greased 8 inch pans at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Spread with coconut pecan icing.
