Sear meat on all sides with oil in frying pan
(Optional). Sprinkle half of the onion soup mix
on a double thickness of foil large enough to
wrap around the roast. Place the meat on
top of the soup mix and sprinkle remaining on
top of meat. Wrap meat tightly in the foil so
no juices escape. then place in a
roasting pan or cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for
2 1/2-3 hours.
