     Pork- Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds pork 2 x 1/2 in. strips
1 can pineapple chunks
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup vinegar
2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 small green pepper, cut in strips
1/4 cup sliced onion
 

Instructions
Brown meat in small amount of oil. Add 1/2 cup water; cover and simmer until tender (about 1 hour). Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Combine sugar and cornstarch; add juice, vinegar, soy sauce, and salt. Add to meat. Cook and stir until thickens. Add pineapple, green pepper, and onion. Cook 2-3 minutes.
Serving Suggestions
Serve over rice.
