     Light Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
2 Cups Milk
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Salt
2 Cakes Baker's Yeast
2 Eggs
6 - 7 Cups Flour, sifted
6 Tablespoons Butter
 

Instructions
Scald milk, add butter, and set aside to cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add 2 Tablespoons of the above sugar. When milk is cool, add yeast mixture, the remaining sugar, salt, beaten eggs, and about half of the flour. Beat until smooth. Add the rest of the flour and knead until elastic. Place dough in a greased bowl and set in a warm place, letting dough rise until doubled in bulk. Make into rolls and let rise again until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
