Cream shortening, sugar and salt.
Add eggs and extracts and beat until smooth.
Add 3/4 of the milk and blend in. (Do not overbeat.)

Sift flour and baking powder.
Add to wet mixture and beat until smooth.
Add remaining milk and stir well.

|
Pour into greased cake pans- 1 9x13 inch pan plus 1 9x9 inch pan, or 2 double-cake pans plus 1 9x9
inch pan.

|
Bake at 350 degrees until done.
