     Sour Cream Softies

Ingredients
3 Cups flour, sifted
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Stick Butter, softened (1/2 Cup)
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Sour Cream (8 Ounce Carton)
 
Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture

Instructions
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda into a mixing bowl. In a separate mixing bowl, cream butter with sugar until well-blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. Add flour mix alternately with the sour cream to the creamed mixture. Blend well to make a thick batter.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoon, 4 inches apart, on greased cookie sheets. Press each drop into a 2 inch round cookie. Sprinkle each cookie with the cinnamon-sugar mix.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges. Remove from cookie sheets and cool completely on wire racks.
