     Chicken Breast, Basic Seared

Ingredients
3 4 oz chicken breasts
1 1/2 tsp cooking oil
seasoned salt
 

Instructions
Sprinkle chicken breasts with 1/3 tsp seasoned salt. Allow to come to room temperature. Heat a skillet over medium high heat. Add cooking oil. When the oil is shimmering add the chicken. Cook without disturbing until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Flip chicken, and cook until browned on second side and cooked through 2-3 minutes more. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside to rest 2-3 minutes more.
This is just a great base chicken for a multitude of recipes. Great when served over rice with a simple vegetable also.
