Ingredients
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups hot water
3 tablespoons butter
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
 
Instructions
Mix brown sugar and cornstarch. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until thick.
Serving Suggestions
Good with apple or raisin cake.
