     Pecan Stuff Mushrooms

Ingredients
1 lb large mushrooms
1/4 cup green pepper - chopped
2 TBSP onion-chopped
2 TBSP butter
1 cup pecan halves - chopped
1/2 cup swiss cheese - shredded
1 egg - beaten slightly
Dash red pepper, salt
 

Instructions
Remove stems from mushrooms, chop stems. Arrange mushroom caps on greased baking sheet. To avoid slimy mushrooms, bake first, stem side down, 10-15mns, then place paper towel to soak up liquid.

In skillet - cook chopped mushroom stems, green pepper, onion, in butter until tender. Stir in pecans halves and remaining ingredients
Spoon 1 TBSP pecan mixture into each mushroom
