Brown ground beef, and oregano, italian
seasoning, salt and pepper. Fry tortillas in
desired oil (I use canola) for approximately 10
seconds on each side. Depending on the heat of
your oil, it may take longer. You want it hot
and bubbling when frying. Drain and stack
tortillas on and between papertowels. When done
frying, assemble tacos and enjoy!
if you don't want to fry your tortillas, I
tried the natural corn tortillas and heated
them in the microwave and they were okay. I was
on a diet at the time.
You can freeze leftover meat or use in
spaghetti sauce.
I call these 3 generation tacos because my grandma
made them this way, my mom, and now me. It's one
my families favorite meals. I made them when my
in-laws were here and my fil said it was the best
taco he's ever had!!!
I eat them with ketchup (eww, I know, but just try
it), my parents eat them with tabasco, and my
hubby puts pace picante on them. So experiment and
see how you like them best. They are easy, and
fast.
