     Biscuits with Sausage Gravy

Category   Breakfast - Brunch
Sub Category   None
Servings   8-10
Preptime   30 min

4 cups Bisquick or baking mix (Pancake mix)
16 oz container of Sour Cream
1 1/2 sticks of butter (melted)
1/2 stick of butter
2-3 T flour
1-2 lbs sausage
1 qt of heavy cream
2 T Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp Tabasco sauce
1/3 cup Maple syrup
salt and pepper

Combine the Bisquick, sour cream and melted butter in a mixer. Mix until a soft, sticky dough forms. You can roll out on a floured surface and cut out biscuits or you can use a few greased cupcake/muffin pans and spoon dough into the pans and pat down, which is faster if not prettier! Bake at 400 for 15-20 min until golden brown
Brown the sausage in a skillet until brown and drain the fat.
In a saucepan melt the butter and add the flour, whisking until combined. Add the heavy cream and whisk again until the rue is combined. Add the Worcestershire, Tabasco and the salt and pepper. Cook on medium heat, stirring until it thickens up a little then add the cooked sausage and the Maple syrup. Keep heating and stirring until bubbling.
Pour gravy over cooked biscuits and enjoy!
