     Slow-Cooker pulled pork

Ingredients
1/4 c. Packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Bourbon (or maple syrup, dark corn syrup w/ molasses)
1 Tbsp. Cider vinegar
1 Tbsp.salt
1 tsp.smoked paprika (can substitute plain paprika)
1tps.Montrealsteak seasoning (I used Smokeouse Maple)
4 1/2 lb. pork roast
2/3 c. Sliced onion
1 c. Barbecue sauce
 

Instructions
In a large heavy-duty resealable plastic bag, combine sugar, bourbon, vinegar, salt, paprika, and steak seasoning. Add pork and turn to coat.seal bag and chill for at least 8 hours or up to 24 hours.
In a 6 quart slow cooker, spread sliced onions evenly over bottom. Place pork fat side up, and any accumulated juices on top of onion. Pour barbecue sauce over pork. Cover an No cook on high for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low and cook for 8 to 9 hours or until pork is tender.
Remove and discard fat from pork roast and shred meat. Toss with sauce and onions in slow cooker. Goe great with coleslaw.
