Sift Flour and Salt together. Beat Butter sugar egg yolks and vanilla in bowl until light and
fluffy. Work in dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Form Dough into 1 inch balls. Dip into egg whites, then into nuts. Place on ungreased cookie
sheet and flatten with palm and make indentation in center with thumb.
Bake 12 - 15 mins at 350°. Cool on wire rack an fill each cookie with jelly. Makes about 3
dozen.
