     Chicken-Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 (4lb.) stewing hen
- ¼ tsp. onion seasoning
- 1 tsp. pepper, cracked
- 6 c. water
- 1 carrot, halved
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1/3 c. flour
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- 1 (1-lb.) pkg. noodles
 
- 1 T. salt
- 1 ½ c. sharp cheese, shredded
- Paprika

Instructions
Cook the stewing hen in the 6 cups water with salt, onion seasoning, pepper (cracked), celery salt and carrot for 3 to 4 hours. Throw carrot away, remove meat from bones and cut in chunks.
Use broth plus water to make 3 ½ cups. Stir in flour and cook until thickened. Add black pepper and the chicken. Set aside.
Cook noodles; drain. Pour noodles and sauce in a casserole. Mix lightly with fork. Sprinkle with shredded sharp cheese and paprika.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.

Serves 12.
