Cook the stewing hen in the 6 cups water with
salt, onion seasoning, pepper (cracked), celery
salt and carrot for 3 to 4 hours. Throw carrot
away, remove meat from bones and cut in chunks.
Use broth plus water to make 3 ½ cups. Stir in
flour and cook until thickened. Add black pepper
and the chicken. Set aside.
Cook noodles; drain. Pour noodles and sauce in a
casserole. Mix lightly with fork. Sprinkle with
shredded sharp cheese and paprika.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
