Brown mean and finely chopped onion in skillet
until brown; add salt and pepper to taste. Add
tomatoes and chili powder. Simmer for about half
an hour. Pour into casserole and top with cornmeal
Cornmeal Topping- Heat water to boiling. Mix
cornmeal with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 cup cold
water. Pour into boiling water. Stirring
constantly, cook 5 minutes until thickened.
Spread cornmeal topping over meat and bake 1 hour
at 350 degrees.
