     Hash Brown Potato Casserole

Ingredients
2 lbs frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 cup butter
1 pint sour cream
2 cups shredded american cheese
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt to taste
Crushed cornflakes
 

Instructions
Melt butter. Mix butter, sour cream, cheese, onion, soup and salt. Add hash browns to mixture. Place in greased 9x13 dish and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Top with crushed cornflakes (mixed with 1/4 melted butter) and bake for 5 additional minutes.
