1.Put tomatoes in food processor until finely chopped, repeat with onions, jalapeno and garlic.
2.Combine chopped vegetables, sugar and salt in lg. sauce pan and heat to a boil.
3.Simmer over med. heat for 15-20 min. stirring occasionally until tender and slightly thickened. 4. Remove from heat and stir in lime juice and cilantro.
Preserving your salsa-
Ladle hot salsa into jars, leaving 1/2 headspace. Remove air bubbles and adjust headspace, if necessary, by adding more salsa. Wipe rim of the jar with paper towel. cap jar with lid and twist on cap. Can using water bath method for 15 min. Time starts at boiling.
