     Dairy Free Cashew Cream

Ingredients
1 cup raw, unsalted cashews
3 cups filtered water, plus more for soaking
1/4 tsp. fine sea salt
Optional add in items
1 to 2 Tbls raw honey or maple syrup
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, etc.
 

Instructions
Place cashews in container with lid. Cover with filtered water. Let soak for at least two hours and up to 12 hours.
1. Drain soaked cashews and discard soaking liquid. 2. Rinse cashews well. 3. Place cashews, water and salt in blender (add sweetener and flavoring if desired). 4. Turn blender on lowest setting and gradually work up to highest setting. 5. Blend on highest setting for about two minutes, until smooth and creamy.
Store in mason jar with lid tightly closed. Shake well before each use.
