1 loaf (1 lb.) French baguette cut into 1 in slices or Pepperidge Farm
3 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
Grease 9x13 in baking dish. In large bowl, mix together brown sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Mix in melted butter. Stir in apples until evenly coated. Pour into prepared pan.
In bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Dip bread into mixture until fully soaked and arrange evenly over apples. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven 375 degrees. Remove dish from refrigerator while oven is reheating. Bake covered for 40 minutes. Remove cover, and bake 5 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
