     Bolognese Sauce

Ingredients
2 T olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 large carrot, peeled and grated
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
1 1/2 lbs minced beef
1 glass red wine
700 ml bottle passata
1/4 cup tomatoe paste
1 can tomato sauce
 
1 T garlic powder
10 fresh basil leaves
3/4 tsp. Pepper
1/2 tsp. Salt

Instructions
Heat oil in frying pan. Add onion carrots and celery, cook for 5 minutes. Add minced beef, cook five minutes. Stir pan cook beef another 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, simmer 1 hour.
