     Soft Mexican Tacos

Ingredients
3 tomatoes, chopped small
1-10oz. pkg Kraft New York aged reserve cracker barrel natural cheddar cheese, shredded
1/3 head of iceberg lettuce, shredded or sliced thinly
1.25 lbs. lean ground beef
1-16 oz. jar Chi Chi's medium salsa
1 pkg. mexican original fajita style flour tortillas
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. red cayenne pepper
1 tbs. onion powder
 
1 tbs. cumin powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 oz. cold water

Instructions
* prepare the tomatoes, cheese and lettuce (refrigerate until needed)
* season the ground beef and mix; in a heavy skillet, brown chopped meat until completely cooked through.
* bread up lumps while cooking so meat is loose; drain off fat or use a paper towle to absorb grease
* add 1 cup of salsa and cold water. mix. simmer for 8 minutes while stirring. heat flour tortillas in microwave or oven. now ready to build your own tacos!
Serving Suggestions
seasoned rice ( cand use deboned chicken breast with the same recipe)
