Cook pasta. In same pot, heat 2 tbsp oil and saute 2 garlic cloves. add chicken season with salt & pepper & fully cook. remove chicken from pot & set aside.
IN same pot, pour in chicken broth then add asparagus, salt, pepper, & remaining garlic and stir. Cover and reduce heat to simmer 5 minutes. Add cooked chicken, penne, 1/4 cup olive oil, parmesan and tomatoes.
