     Molasses Cake Bars

Ingredients
1 c. sugar
1/4 butter & 1/4 Spry together
1 egg
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
 
About 3 c. flour to make a soft dough
Instructions
Spread on greased and floured cookie sheet (with sides). Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Make a frosting of 10X sugar and water, thin. Put over the hot cake and spread lightly. Mark in bars.
