Heat oil on medium high and fry seasoned beef in small batches to
brown about 1 minute per side. Set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and fry onion until soft, about 5 minutes.
Stir in flour and cook stirring constantly until slightly brown, about 3
minutes.
Add stout to deglaze.
Add stock and bring to boil stirring.
Reduce heat to medum low. Add meat and the rest of the
ingredients..
Cover and cook over medium low heat for 2 to 2.5 hours stirring
occasionally.
remove all ingredients and boil down the sauce over medium high
heat to thicken. return ingredients to heat. Delicious over mashed
potatoes.
