     Really Crisp Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine and 1/2 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 cups sifted flour
 
Instructions
Cream butter; gradually add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add combined baking powder and flour to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly.
Roll on lightly floured cutting board.
Cut with biscuit cutter.
Bake at 375 degrees until light brown.
