plump, meaty lamb shakes are an interesting cut of meat to cook and to eat and yet not too many people are familiar with them. they need long, moist cooking and knowledgeable seasoning.
heat he brandy, soy sauce, and honey together briefly just enough to blend. marinate the lamb shakes in this mixture for 3-4 hours.
remove the shakes from the mariade, brown in the oil in a skillet on the stove. transfer to a baking dish and ad the marinade.
cover and cook in a 350 oven for 1 1/2 hours, basting from time to time with the marinade. servings 4.
