     Syracuse Salt Potatoes

3lbs bite-sized potatoes (white or yellow)
1 cup sea salt
6 cups water
1/2 cup butter

Instant Pot Directions- 1. wash potatoes 2. add salt and water to pressure cooker cooking pot and whisk until the salt has completely dissolved.
3. add potatoes 4. lock on lid and close pressure valve. cook at high pressure for 2 minutes. wait 15 minutes and then release pressure. 5. strain potatoes in a colander and let dry for a few minutes. serve with melted butter.
Stove Top Directions- 1. mix together salt and water and bring to boil. add potatoes and cook for 20 minutes, or until soft. drain and serve.
