     Sweet and Sticky Chicken- Oven Roasted Recipe

Ingredients
4 carrots, cut into 1” pieces
4 medium potatoes, cut into 1” pieces
1 bell pepper, but into 1” pieces
1 onion, cut into 1” pieces
Other veggies optional (sweet potato, cherry tomatoes, zucchini etc)
8 pieces chicken
1/4 cup molases
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
 
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup butter, cut into small pieces
2 Tablespoons cornstarch plus 1/3 cup water
Crushed red pepper (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. In 9x13 pan, layer the vegetables after spraying pan with cooking spray. Combine. Molases, ketchup, honey, syrup and seasonings in a sealable bag. Add chicken to bag and toss to coat. Remove chicken carefully and place on top of vegetables. Place butter on top of chicken. Bake for 25 minutes.
Meanwhile heat remaining sauce in saucepan Android bring to a simmer. Thicken with cornstarch and water mixture. Add this thickened sauce to the top of the chicken and cook another 25 minutes.
If the vegetables aren’t yet done, remove chicken and cook until vegetables are tender. Enjoy!
