     Mom's Carrot Cake

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup oil
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
4 eggs
3 cups finely grated carrots
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
 

Instructions
Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Add oil, and stir well. (this mixture will be very thick). Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. add carrot and blend well. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 pan or 2 layer cake pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350 F for 40 to 50 minutes. When cool frost with cream cheese frosting.
