Ingredients
1 lb. beef stew meat salted and sprinkled with garlic powder
5 red potatos peeled and diced
1 med. onion diced
1 med. carrot juliened
1 med parsnip chopped
1 celery stalk chopped
3 to 5 cloves of garlic minced
3 cups of beef broth
1 8 oz tomato sauce
 
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon hot hungarian paprika
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons cornstarch
fresh dill

Instructions
in a nonstick pan brown the stew meat and set to the side. in same pan melt two tablespoons of butter and brown the potatos and add to a large slow cooker. brown the onion, carotts,parsnip and garlic and add to the slow cooker. add the beef on top of the vegetables.
add the beef broth, tomato sauce and the dry seasonings to slow cooker. cook on low for 6 hours.
in the last hour combine the heavy cream and cornstarch in a bowl and add it to the slow cooker and stir to combine. stir occasionally in the last hour. add dill weed and serve.
