Prepare barbecue sauce and set aside. Cook beef in a 4 quart dutch
oven over medium heat until brown, about 10 minutes. Drain if
needed.
Mix chili powder, salt, oregano, dry mustard, cayenne pepper and
garlic and sprinkle over beef. Place onions on beef, and pour
barbecue sauce over all of this.
Cover and cook in a 350 deg. oven until beef is tender, about 2 hours. (I move oven rack to the
middle.) Skim fat from sauce. Serve sauce with beef.
