     Greek pita spread

Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Greek vinaigrette
2 cans (2-1/4 oz each) sliced olives, drained
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 small sweet onion, chopped
1 green pepped, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 cucumber chopped ( optional)
 
1 cup (4oz) crumbled feta
Greek Vinaigrette-
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
3 cloves garlic minced
1 Tbsp. Fresh chopped basil, 1/2 tsp dried oregano,
3 Tbs lemon juice
3/4 cup olive oil

Instructions
Beat the cream cheese, sour cream, vinaigrette and onion until blended. Spread onto a large serving plate, or two pie plates. Layer with olives, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber and cheese.
Serve with pita bread
Combine all vinaigrette ingredients in a blender. Add salt and pepper to taste. I usually use 1-1/2 tsp salt.
