Cut up chicken into serving pieces. Heat oil and brown
chicken on all sides. Add onions, season with salt and pepper,
thyme. When slightly brown, drain oil add wine and simmer
until the wine is absorbed. Add tomatoes. Cover and simmer
20-30 minutes.
