Put warm water into mixer bowl. Add yeast and a sprinkle of
white sugar and let it activate 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, measure milk and butter into a saucepan and
warm. Measure dry ingredients into large bowl and mix
together.
When yeast has activated, add milk and butter mixture, eggs,
molasses and dry ingredients.
Mix with hook attachment for 5-7 minutes and until dough has
pulled away from the mixing bowl. (If dough is too wet add
some extra flour a Tbs at a time. Dough should be soft and
moist, but not sticky.)
Place dough into large, greased bowl (I used butter), butter a
piece of waxed paper and place covering bowl, then cover with
a clean kitchen towel. Place in a warm, draft free area and let
rise 1 hour.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Punch dough down
and turn onto a floured surface. Knead about 5 times and
divide into loaves. Place loaves on lined baking sheet. Let
rise 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mark an X in dough and Place in preheated oven and bake 30 minutes.
