3 eggs

1-1/2 cups margarine

2 cups brown sugar

Add-

1/2 cup water

2 tsp vanilla

Dry Ingredients-
|

2 tsp salt
|

1 tsp baking soda
|
| |
2 cups flour (1 cup white, 1 cup wheat)

1 cup coconut
|
| |
8-12 oz chocolate chips
|
| |
7 cups oats (3-1/2 cups old fashioned, 3-1/2 cups quick one-minute type)

1/2 cup crushed walnuts (optional)

Instructions |

|
Blend with mixer, do not whip, the first 3 ingredients. Add the next 2 ingredients.

|
Mix dry ingredients together in separate bowl. Add gradually to liquid ingredients; blend.
|
|
|
|
Stir in next ingredients with a fork. Cookies will spread a little bit. Make mounds about 3 inches in diameter, about 1 inch in height.

|
|
For best results, bake on a baking stone at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cookies will be light golden brown when done.
