     Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 can pumpkin
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups flour
1 cup of chocolate chips
 
Instructions
Cream together shortening and sugar. Mix in vanilla, egg and pumpkin and beat together. Add in baking powder, cinnamon and flour and beat well.
Stir in chocolate chips by hand and scoop out onto parchment paper on cookie sheet.
Back at 350 for 10 min.
Will come out appearing like they are wet. This is normal as they are more of a cakey cookie than a thin crispy cookie.
