     Chicken a L'Orange

Ingredients
3 to 4 lbs Chicken, cut up
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup shortening or salad oil
1 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup Chili sauce
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 to 1 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp soya sauce
 
1 tbsp molasses
3 medium oranges, sliced

Instructions
Season chicken with salt and pepper and coat with flour. Brown in oil. Place chicken in casserole. Drain fat from pan. In skillet add remaining ingredients except orange slices and simmer 5 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken and bake covered at 300 F for about 1 hour. Before serving garnish with orange slices.
