Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Drain beans in a colander over a bowl, reserve
1 cup liquid. Cook bacon until crisp. Remove
bacon from pan, reserve 3 TB drippings in pan.
Crumble bacon. Add onions to pan and cook 10
minutes over medium heat until glden brown, add
bacon, sugar, vinegar, mustard and garlic.
Cook util thick and bubbly. Combine beans,
reserved bean liquid and onion mixture in 3
quart glass baking dish coated with cooking
spray. Cover and bake 45 minutes stirring
every 15 minutes. This can also be cooked in
crock pot for 2 to 3 hours.
