     (OZ) QUICHE FLORENTINE

Ingredients
1 frozen 9 1/2 inch DEEP DISH PIE CRUST
10 oz. box frozen CHOPPED SPINACH
1 cup HALF-AND-HALF
4 Lg, EGGS
2/3 cup (or more) shredded SHARP CHEDDAR
1/2 cup shredded SWISS
1/2 cup chopped ONION
3 oz. jar REAL BACON BITS
1/4 teas. coarse BLACK PEPPER
 
1/4 teas GARLIC POWDER
1/8 teas. ground NUTMEG

Instructions
Bring pie crust to room temp. Meanwhile, cook spinach per package directions and drain thoroughly, pressing out water.
Mix well spinach, onion, bacon, cheddar and Swiss. Scoop and smooth gently and evenly into crust.
Whisk together half-and-half, eggs, and spices. Pour gently and evenly over spinach mix. Bake at preheated 375 for 40 minutes or until a knife stuck in the middle comes out clean. Let set for ten minutes.
NOTES- If desired sprinkle extra cheese on top half-way thru baking. This may be good topped with slices of Roma tomatoes near the end. This reheats well in the microwave.
