     Beef Stew

Ingredients
2 lbs beef roast cubed
3 Tbs vegetable oil
3 to 4 beef stock cubes, crumbled
4 cups water
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 carrots cut into pieces
 
4 stalks celery cut into pieces
1 large onion chopped
1 tsp corn starch
2 tsp cold water

Instructions
Prep 20 min, Cook 2 hrs
In large pot or frypan with lid, cook beef in oil over medium heat until brown. Dissolve stock in water and pour into pot. Stir in rosemary, parsley, and pepper. Bring to boil, then reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour.
Stir potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion into pot. Dissolve corn starch in 2 tsp cold water and stir into stew.
Cover and simmer 1 hour or more
