Bring pie crust to room temp and preheat oven to
400.
Warm milk in small pot on stove top, stirring
often, just until steaming.
Separately whisk well eggs, vanilla, salt, and sugar. Slowly
whisk in milk. Place crust on lined cookie sheet,
pour in liquid, and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake about 45 minutes It will be jiggly and/or
bubbly. Let cool on wire rack before slicing.
