     Apple Crisp

Ingredients
6 golden delicious apples
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup chopped pecans
juice and zest from 1 lime
3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
3 Tbsp unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
ice cream
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Peel, core, halve, and slice into 1/4 inch slices the apples. Combine with honey, pecans, line zest and juice. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly and sprinkle over apples.
Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 45 minutes. Remove and let sit, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve warm, with ice cream.
