Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Distribute pie filling evenly over bottom.
Cut together the cake mix and butter in a bowl until crumbly. Pour the cake mix mixture over the pie filling. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or high for 2 hours. Serve warm with ice cream.
