1 pkg yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
1/8 tsp ginger
1 TBSP sugar
1tsp salt
4 cups flour
1 beaten egg
coarse salt

Dissolve yeast in water and stir in ginger Add salt and sugar Add flour stirring four in Turn dough onto lightly floured board and knead 5-10 mns
Cut dough into 12 pieces - first into quarters then each quarter into 3 pieces Roll each of the 12 pieces into a rope about 12 inches long Shape into pretzels and place on lightly greased tin foil covered baking sheet (cover the pan with foil and grease tin foil
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt Bake 425 15 mins
